And not by accident ! Sea Sparrow missiles are semi-active guided missiles. In order to hit Muavenet, they must be aimed at the ship with the fire control radar. This feature of the system eliminates the possibility of the incident being accidental. It's obvious that there's a motive!
The ship commander, Chief of Naval Staff Lieutenant Colonel Kudret Güngör and 5 soldiers were martyred and 22 personnel were injured.
